Jagjit & Chitra's only son died at the age of 18 years
on July 28 1990. His death has left a big impact on his life. Chitra
stop singing and we can hear the pain in his voice. In one interview on
a Canadian TV he mentioned that he could not have survived the pain if
there was no music.
"Jag ne cheena mujse mujhe jo bhi laga payra...
sab 'Jit' gaye mujhse main hardam hi hara"
